Ceramic Volumes
2023 - present
My Ceramic Volumes are porcelain and earthenware objects whose “volume” refers both to their rounded exterior and the hollow space within. The soft, organic forms are like enlarged pebbles, shaped by harmony through balance and refined sensitivity. I apply patterns by hand, dot by dot, grinding tiny recesses into the clay and filling them with glaze. The drawings resemble subtle tattoos on the ceramic skin — intuitive, imperfect, and quietly expressive. The slow, meditative rhythm of placing each dot allows the work to unfold naturally. I aim to create art that shapes atmosphere rather than dominate it, inviting the viewer to slow down, come closer, and discover the subtle layers of attention and care embedded in each piece.
