2020 - present

I have always been drawn to paper and pencil—the basic simplicity of a blank sheet and a box of pencils strongly appeals to me. I am guided by imagination, yet there is always a sense of recognisability in my drawings. Working with colored pencils allows me to build each image slowly, layer by layer, until an atmosphere emerges that can feel expressive at times, and mysterious at others.
