2020 - present

I have always enjoyed drawing on paper. The fundamental simplicity of a sheet of paper and a box of pencils continues to inspire me. Guided by intuition, I slowly build each drawing layer by layer. Working with care and quiet attention gives the drawing process an almost meditative quality.
I see my drawings as an exploration of a personal visual language. At the same time, they engage in a dialogue with my ceramic work. Both disciplines resonate with one another, forming an ongoing exploration of form, rhythm, material, and stillness.
